Cream of Mushroom Soup
This is an unbelievably delicious soup, besides it is very fast and simple to make.
Serves 4
0.5 lb mushrooms
1 medium onion
2 potatoes
3.5 cups water
7 oz heavy cream
1 teaspoon salt
This is an unbelievably delicious soup, besides it is very fast and simple to make.
Rinse the mushrooms and cut into large pieces.
You can substitute the mushrooms with any other mushrooms of your choice.
Place the mushrooms onto a dry skillet and place on the stove.
Cook, stirring periodically for 10-15 minutes.
The mushrooms will release a lot of liquid; they need to be cooked until all liquid evaporates.
Chop the potatoes and onion into medium cubes.
Transfer the onion and potatoes into a pot and cover with the water.
Place on the stove.
Add the salt.
Bring to a boil, then turn the heat down to medium and cook for 10 minutes.
Transfer the mushrooms into the pot.
Add the cream right away.
Bring to a boil and take off the stove.
The soup is ready. Enjoy!
