Open-faced Appetizer Sandwiches with Smoked Salmon
These sandwiches are as delicious as they’re easy to prepare.
Ingredients for 12 sandwiches:
6 slices bread
1 oz butter
6 oz smoked salmon
4 oz cucumber
These sandwiches are as delicious as they’re easy to prepare.
Carefully cut the crust off the bread slices.
Cut each slice in half.
Place the bread on a flat serving platter. Put a thin piece of the butter onto each bread slice. It would be best if the butter is firm enough to not soak into the bread.
Slice the cucumber very thinly.
Put 2 cucumber slices on top of the butter on each bread slice.
Diagonally slice the salmon into thin pieces.
Place 1-2 pieces of the salmon on top of the cucumber.
Serve as an appetizer or accompaniment to drinks.
If desired, use decorative canapé skewers to secure the food on each sandwich.
