Charlotte Apple Pie
The fall is the season for harvesting apples and making this quick and simple apple pie.
Ingredients:
5 apples
5 eggs
1 cup sugar
1 cup flour
4 oz vanilla or vanilla sugar
6 oz butter (for oiling the baking dish)

Preheat the oven to 350F.
Peel, core and dice the apples.
Place into a bowl.

The batter should be liquid.

Oil the baking dish with the butter and pour in 1/3 of the batter.

Place the apples onto the batter and spead evenly.
Pour the rest of the batter over the apples.

Place the pie into the oven and back for 50 minutes. Do not open the oven for the first 25-30 minutes or the batter won't rise.

Keep in mind, everything is extremely simple: 350 degrees – 50 minutes. When the pie is ready, take out of the oven and slice.
